Catholicos Aram I Appeals for End to Violence in Syria

ANTELIAS, Lebanon – On Wednesday, His Holiness Aram I, spiritual head of the Catholicosate of Cilicia and a President of the Middle East Council of Churches, appealed to all ecumenical and humanitarian organizations to speed up aid to the population in Syria.

He also appealed to the Syrians to end violence and work towards the unity of the people and dialogue between Christians and Muslims.
