
Armenia Issues International Arrest Warrant for Prominent Businessman's Son
An Armenian court today issued an international arrest warrant for Never Tsarukyan, son of Armenian businessman Gagik Tsarukyan, in relation to an October 2024 shooting at a casino in the town of Tzaghkadzor.
Never Tsarukyan was one of a group wanted for the shooting that occurred following an argument between casino staffers and his bodyguards.
The bodyguards and Never Tsarukyan are accused of armed robbery and hooliganism.
Following the incident, Never Tsarukyan’s lawyer said the accused was on a business trip to Belarus and Russia.
Gagik Tsarukyan owns the Muti Group business consortium in Armenia and is founder of the Prosperous Armenia party.
