
Armenian, Dutch Defense Ministers Discuss Cooperation Prospects
Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan today, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, discussed defense cooperation prospects with his Dutch counterpart Ruben Brekelmans.
They identified military education, joint exercises, and experience exchange as potential areas of cooperation. They also addressed issues related to regional and international security.
Papikyan, earlier today, met with Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur and discussed prospects for Armenia-Estonia cooperation in the defense sector and noted cybersecurity as a promising area of cooperation.
Papikyan also met with Lithuanian Defense Minister Dovilė Šakalienė and reviewed the progress of bilateral cooperation and identified new areas for cooperation.
Both reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation bilaterally and within NATO and EU formats.
