The body of a Spanish hiker killed in an avalanche in Armenia on Tuesday has been found by rescue teams, according to the country’s Rescue Service.

Seven of another eight Spanish hikers were rescued that day after being caught in the avalanche on Mt. Aragatz, Armenia’s highest mountain. They were hospitalized and doing well.

Local firefighters, rescue teams, and emergency responders were deployed to the site, successfully rescuing eight climbers.
