
Armenia's Prosecutor General Wants to Seize $10.3 Million from Former MP
Armenia’s Anti-Corruption Court has accepted to hear a case presented by the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) to confiscate AMD four billion (US$10.278) million) from former MP Arkadi Hambardzumyan it claims was derived from illegal sources.
The PGO also wants the court to confiscate eight units of real estate, five vehicles, and shares in eight companies from Hambardzumyan.
Hambardzumyan served as a parliament deputy (2003-2007, 2007-2012) and was a Member of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations (2007-2008).
