Former President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian (2018-2022) issued the following statement today marking the 110th anniversary of the 1915 Armenian Genocide.

April 24 has become a testament to the invincibility of truth. Today we commemorate not only what we lost – lives, settlements, homeland, but also what has stood the test of time – our dignity and the will to be reborn. The memory of the innocent victims is not just a wound, it is a warning, wisdom, and a vow to rise again.
