Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Armenia Li Xinwei met today in Yerevan  and discussed steps to increase bilateral economic and political relations between their two countries.

The sides exchanged views on international and regional developments, stressing the importance of developing mutually beneficial partnerships in the current period of uncertainty, but also opportunities.

The two also discussed issues related to the development of the regional communications network, noting Armenia’s "Crossroads of Peace" program.
