Armenian Minister of Internal Affairs Arpineh Sargsyan and Vassilis Maragos, who heads the European Union Delegation to Armenia, met today in Yerevan and discussed the current cooperation programs in the fields of police and rescue services and the provision of new EU assistance.

During the meeting, the work carried out within the framework of the EU visa liberalization process was discussed, including the process of legislative reforms and the introduction of biometric passports.

Minister Sargsyan’s upcoming visit to Brussels and agenda issues that are planned to be discussed during the visit were also discussed.
