Tashir Pizza Outlet in Yerevan Hit with Food Safety Violations
Armenia’s Food Safety Inspectorate (FSI) has temporarily shut down a Tashir Pizza outlet in downtown Yerevan (50 Mashdots St.) for sanitary and hygienic violations.
The fast-food chain is part of the Tashir Group owned by Russian-Armenian businessman Samvel Karapetyan.
The FSI reports it’s inspecting all thirty-six eateries owned by the company.
In 2021, Tashir Pizza was forced to close twenty of its stores in Yerevan when customers complained of fever, diarrhea, vomiting, nausea and general fatigue after eating at two of its outlets.
