Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan is scheduled to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington D.C. this week to “to deepen the Armenia-US strategic partnership” according to a statement released by Pashinyan’s office.
Pashinyan will also meet with Trump and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for talks “aimed at promoting peace, prosperity and economic cooperation in the region.”
Pashinyan and Aliyev last met in Abu Dhabi on July 10 in an effort to advance the peace agreement process. No breakthroughs were achieved.
