
Armenia, Spain Foreign Ministers Discuss Increased Cooperation Efforts
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Spain’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, today by telephone, discussed ongoing efforts to facilitate increased cooperation between their two countries, including via bilateral high-level visits and active interaction at the EU level.
Touching upon regional issues, Mirzoyan expressed gratitude for the important message of Spain regarding the August 8 agreements reached in Washington D.C. to normalize relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Emphasizing Armenia’s determination to achieve sustainable peace in the South Caucasus, Mirzoyan described the opportunities that will arise by unblocking regional communications.
