
Pashinyan Attends Armenia National Day Opening at Expo 2025 in Osaka
Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan today attended the opening of Armenia National Day at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan.
The Armenian pavilion, entitled “Pillars of Today and Tomorrow,” presents Armenia’s leading innovative programs, cultural heritage, investment opportunities, and advanced educational initiatives at Expo 2025.
Expo 2025 is a major international exhibition with the theme "Designing Future Society for Our Lives".
Following his tour of Expo 2025, Pashinyan took part in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony with members of the Armenian delegation and Hisashi Matsumoto, Deputy Parliamentary Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan.
Pashinyan, during his remarks marking the opening of Armenia National Day, noted that the Gunma branch of the Tumo Center for Creative Technologies was officially opened in Japan, which will be available to 1,500 young people living in the communities of the prefecture.
“We have come to Osaka to share the achievements of today’s Armenia, based on our rich history and culture, and the vision of a peaceful and prosperous future based on the philosophy of economic and technological progress and innovative education,” Pashinyan said according to a statement released by his office.
This is the fifth time Armenia has participated in the Osaka exhibition.
