
Armenia, Azerbaijan Discuss Border Delimitation and Demining
Delegations from Armenia and Azerbaijan, on September 5, held mutual visits to both countries to discuss issues related to the delimitation and demining of relevant sections/segments of the borderline and to the restoration and construction of necessary infrastructures and the timelines for their implementation.
The discussions were in accordance with the agreements reached in Washington D.C. on August 8.
The visits were held under the chairmanship of Armenian Deputy PM Mher Grigoryan and Azerbaijani Deputy PM Shahin Mustafayev.
The delegation’ heads exchanged views on the organization of the next meeting of the Commission on Delimitation and Border Security of the State Border between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Commission on the Delimitation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia.
