The History Museum of Armenia and the British Museum today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) today in London designed to expand cultural and professional dialogue between the two institutions.

History Museum of Armenia Director David Poghosyan and British Museum Director Nicholas Cullinan signed the MoU.

Attending the signing ceremony were Armenian Deputy Minister of Culture Alfred Kocharyan, Armenian Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Varuzhan Nersisyan, British Museum department heads, and invited scholars.

Kocharyan noted that the 2024 exhibition “Mother Goddess: Anahit to Mariam” organized jointly with the British Museum at the History Museum of Armenia is one of the important points of the cultural agenda of the dynamic and developing cooperation between Armenia and the United Kingdom, which is also a solid basis for the development of further cooperation.
