Armenian Apostolic Church Catholicos Karekin II today, in Etchmaidzin, hosted a Save Armenia – A Judeo-Christian Alliance delegation and thanked the organization for supporting Armenia and the Armenian people and for their efforts to make the voice of the Armenian people heard on international platforms.

The delegation included alliance director Matias Perttula and Dr. Alveda King, the niece of Martin Luther King Jr.

Save Armenia is a nonprofit organization, a coalition of Christians and Jews who refuse to allow Azerbaijan’s aggression against Armenia to go unpunished.

The alliance states: Armenia, the easternmost outpost of the Western World, holds both religious significance and strategic value for the United States, Israel, and our Western allies.

Karekin II, according to his office, expressed his concerns regarding the claims presented by Azerbaijan, the prisoners of war held in Baku, the rights of the Armenians of Artsakh, as well as the facts of the appropriation and destruction of the Armenian spiritual and cultural heritage by Azerbaijan.
