Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and Council of Europe (CoE) Secretary General Alain Berset met today in Strasbourg and discussed the pace of institutional reforms in Armenia.

Berset, according to Pashinyan’s office, said that ongoing cooperation has contributed to the promotion of institutional reforms in the Armenia and he expressed confidence that the programs envisaged within the framework of bilateral cooperation will continue to be successfully implemented in the future.

They also discussed the August 8 initialing of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan and expressed hope that the new reality created in the South Caucasus with the establishment of peace will open up broad development opportunities in the region.
