Armenian Foreign Minister to Paris for Feminist Foreign Ploicy Conference

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan left for France today to attend the 4th Ministerial Conference on Feminist Foreign Policies in Paris.

The two-day conference, which begins today, aims to strengthen and expand international coalitions, which are essential to preserve women’s rights and spur new progress for gender equality.

It is the only multilateral mobilization event on women’s rights outside of the United Nations, initiated by Germany in 2022, then hosted by the Netherlands in 2023 and Mexico in 2024.

The conference is expected to host some 450 participants from over fifty countries. Nations with confirmed involvement in feminist foreign policy, including Liberia, Mexico, Spain, and Mongolia, are scheduled to be represented.
