Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, during a meeting today in Yerevan with Robert Floyd, Executive Secretary of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO), emphasized Armenia’s commitment to the goals of the Treaty   to strengthen international security and stability.

The two, according to Mirzoyan’s office, exchanged views on international processes, emphasizing the importance of continuous efforts towards the universal implementation of the goals of the organization.

They also discussed the recent peace deal between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the opportunities it provides.

Armenia has both signed (1996) and ratified (2006) the Treaty.
