Pashinyan in Paris for Peace Forum, Will Meet Macron

Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan is in France to attend the 8th Paris Peace Forum 2025, an invitation-only two-day event that gathers leaders from government, civil society, and the private sector to discuss and find solutions for global challenges.

Under the theme "New Coalitions for Peace, People and the Planet," it will focus on topics like conflict prevention, democracy, AI for peace, and climate change.

The event coincides with the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement and will aim to invigorate global climate efforts.

The Paris Agreement is an international treaty adopted in 2015 to combat climate change by limiting global warming to well below two degrees Celsius.

Pashinyan is scheduled to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron.
