Kazakh President Honors Pashinyan with Top State Award
Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, today in Astana, awarded Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan with the country’s top state award, the Order of the Golden Eagle, for his “far-sighted leadership” and “strategic vision”.
The Kazakh president said that Pashinyan has injected new energy into the development of Armenia and has given a powerful impetus to reforms in all spheres of state-building.
Pashinyan arrived in Kazakhstan yesterday on an official visit.
Tokayev praised Pashinyan for making tough decisions to achieve peace with Azerbaijan.
Pashinyan then thanked Tokayev for supporting efforts to bring peace and stability to the South Caucasus.
