Armenian Deputy Minister of High-Technology Industry Gevorg Mantashyan today fielded questions at the first meeting of potential beneficiaries on the recently established Virtual Institute of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The institute, a ministry project, is dedicated to fostering innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Armenia.

Mantashyan, according to his office, said the project aims to increase the number of AI specialists in Armenia and to boost the country’s competitiveness through increased productivity.

Amazon Web Services and Mistral AI are partners of the project.

Industry representatives, researchers and tech innovators attended the Yerevan meeting.
