Armenia, EU Adopt New Strategic Agenda to Deepen Partnership
Armenia and the European Union (EU) today adopted a new Strategic Agenda for the EU-Armenia Partnership that aims to expand political, economic and sectoral cooperation between the two partners.
The document replaces the 2017 Partnership Priorities, setting out a more ambitious and comprehensive framework for joint action.
Building on the foundations established by the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA), the Strategic Agenda articulates a shared vision for future cooperation and aligns with Armenia’s intention to deepen its ties with the European Union.
The document highlights strengthened bilateral relations and encompasses various domains, including democracy and rule of law, justice reform, human rights, socio-economic development, connectivity, energy security, digital transformation, trade diversification, as well as new initiatives in security and defense cooperation.
