Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan’s Chief of Staff Arayik Harutyunyan and UK Ambassador to Armenia Alexandra Cole met today in Yerevan and discussed expanded cooperation prospects between their two countries following the recent decision to upgrade relations to a strategic partnership.

The sides exchanged views on the organization of the European Political Community Summit to be held in Armenia next year and Reference and the promotion of the Armenian government’s reform agenda, strategic communication, civil society development, and cooperation in other areas.

The two countries announced the relationship upgrade during UK Minister for Europe Stephen Doughty’s visit to Armenia in August of this year.
