Turkish Airlines to Launch Rountrip Istanbul-Yerevan Flights in March 2026
Turkish national carrier Turkish Airlines (THY) will launch roundtrip Istanbul-Yerevan flights on March 11, 2026.
Serdar Kılıç, Turkey’s special envoy for Armenian-Turkish relations, broke the news on X, noting that this is yet another step towards normalizing ties between the two countries.
Kılıç states that Turkish Airlines will begin with daily flights, increasing to ten per week on May 14 and fourteen per week on June 14.
Air connection between Istanbul and Yerevan is now conducted by Turkish Pegasus Airlines.
Unlike Pegasus Airlines, Turkish Airlines will operate flights from Istanbul Airport. Pegasus operates flights from Sabiha Gökçen International Airport
