Pashinyan to Join Trump’s Gaza “Board of Peace”

Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan will join U.S. President Donald Trump’s new “Board of Peace” that will oversee the reconstruction of Gaza.

Pashinyan’s Nazeli Baghdasaryan posted the news on her FB page today.

“Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has received an official invitation from US President Donald Trump to join the Peace Council as a founding member. Pashinyan accepted the offer with love and responsibility, reaffirming Armenia’s commitment to promoting peace,” the post reads.

Approximately sixty countries have received invitations from Trump to join the Board of Peace. Countries seeking permanent membership on the Board of Peace are required to contribute US$ 1 billion to a fund overseen by Chairman Donald Trump; otherwise, their term of service will be limited to three years.

Former British prime minister Tony Blair, Canada’s leader Mark Carney and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio are among the members of the “Board of Peace” that will oversee the reconstruction of Gaza.

The “founding Executive Board” also includes Trump’s foreign-policy envoy Steve Witkoff, deputy national security adviser Robert Gabriel and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, as well as billionaire businessman Marc Rowan and World Bank head Ajay Banga.

Azerbaijan and France have declined invitations to join the board.

Albania, Argentina, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and Paraguay have confirmed their participation in the “Board of Peace” that Trump has described as “the greatest and most prestigious board ever assembled”.
