Murderer of Armenian Army Officer Extradited to Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijani press is reporting that Lieutent Ramil Safarov, convicted for the murder of Armenian army officer Gurgen Margaryan in 2004 during a NATO military exercise in Hungary has been extradited to Azerbaijan.

Yesterday, Hetq reported that over 80 Armenian NGOs had signed a letter opposing the move.

today.az reports that President Aliyev has even pardoned Safarov.
