The foreign ministers of Armenia and Iran (Ararat Mirzoyan, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi) by telephone today discussed the unfolding situation in the Middle East following military operations targeting Iran launched by the U.S. and Israel.

Mirzoyan, according to his office, expressed his condolences to the families of the victims in Iran, emphasizing the importance of reducing tensions and reaching a peaceful resolution.

The two also touched upon humanitarian issues.
