Armenian, Omani Foreign Ministers Discuss Middle East Conflict
On March 3, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman Badr bin Hamad bin Hamud Al-Busaidi.
The foreign ministers of Armenia and Oman (Ararat Mirzoyan, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi) by telephone today discussed the ongoing conflict in the Middle East following the U.S. and Israeli military attacks on Iran.
The two officials, according to Mirzoyan’s office, stressed the importance of reaching a solution through peaceful means and giving priority to diplomacy
Mirzoyan thanked Oman for implementing procedures for the return of Armenian citizens from Oman and the UAE to Armenia, expressing the readiness of Armenia to also aid in the transfer of Omani citizens, if necessary.
The foreign ministers also touched upon work aimed at expanding the bilateral agenda, emphasizing the significance of the decision made by the Armenian government to open a resident embassy of Armenia in Muscat.
