Armenia, UK Sign Strategic Partnership Declaration

The prime ministers of Armenia and the UK (Nikol Pashinyan, Keir Stamer, today in Yerevan, signed a Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership between their two countries.

“With today’s Joint Declaration with Keir Starmer on a Strategic Partnership between Armenia & the United Kingdom, we open a new and promising chapter in Armenia-UK relations built on shared values and strengthened cooperation,” Pashinyan said in a statement on X.

Pashinyan highlighted the importance of Starmer's visit to Armenia to attend the European Political Community Summit and described it as historic, since this is his first visit to Armenia as UK prime minister.

Pashinyan expressed confidence that the results of this visit will give a new impetus to bilateral relations, and cooperation in various directions will develop and expand.
