A delegation led by French President Emmanuel Macron, who arrived in Armenia on a state visit, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex in Yerevan.

There, he was welcomed by Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, Minister of Education, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, Armenian Ambassador to France Arman Khachaturyan, and Acting Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Hrachya Tashchyan.  

The presidents of the two countries laid wreaths at the memorial commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide, after which the other members of the delegation laid flowers at the eternal flame and honored the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide with a minute of silence.
