Armenia Unveils French-Supplied CAESAR Artillery

Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan today released footage showing French-supplied CAESAR self-propelled artillery systems  publicly for the first time in Armenia during rehearsals for the country’s Republic Day parade, scheduled for May 28 in central Yerevan.

The CAESAR systems shown during parade rehearsals are among the most important Western weapons Armenia has acquired in recent years, and their public debut carries both military and political significance as the country rapidly reshapes its defense ties after losing Nagorno-Karabakh in 2023.

Available sources do not confirm how many CAESAR systems Armenia received, and the full extent of French military deliveries to Yerevan remains only partly known.
