U.S. Chargé d’Affaires David Allen Visits Syunik Province
U.S. Chargé d’Affaires a.i. David Allen is visiting Syunik Province this week to highlight the many areas of U.S.-Armenia bilateral cooperation across the region.
During his visit, CDA Allen will meet with local officials, exchange alumni, Peace Corps Volunteers, civil society representatives, students, and U.S. partners. The program includes the launch of the next stop of the Founders’ Museum at the American Corner in Kapan, a meeting with U.S.-funded English Access Program students in Meghri, a visit to the Meghri border to learn more about ongoing cooperation, and a visit to ContourGlobal’s Goris office to discuss energy security and potential cooperation.
The visit underscores the growing U.S.-Armenia partnership and our continued work together to expand economic opportunities, strengthen energy cooperation, support education and cultural preservation, and build a more prosperous future for both our countries.
