Pashinyan, Modi Discuss Need for Expanded Bilateral Cooperation

Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and Indian PM Narendra Modi spoke by telephone today, emphasizing the importance of continuing the development of Armenia-India friendly relations and noting with satisfaction the positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation.

The two stressed the need to expand economic, educational, and cultural cooperation.

Modi, according to Pashinyan’s office, again congratulated Pashinyan on his parliamentary election victory and wished him success in the post.

Pashinyan congratulated Modi on becoming the longest-serving elected prime minister in India's history, wishing him new successes for the benefit of India's prosperity and development.

The parties also attached importance to the organization of high-level mutual visits to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries and promote new initiatives.
