The Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia, on June 28, celebrated the 31st anniversary of His Holiness Aram I’s election and consecration as Catholicos with a thanksgiving prayer during the Divine Liturgy.

Archbishop Oshagan Choloyan led the thanksgiving prayer, V. Rev. Fr. Sarkis Aprahamian celebrated the Divine Liturgy, and Archbishop Anoushavan Tanielian delivered the homily.

The homily highlighted  Catholicos Aram I’s transformational leadership, dedication to youth, Armenian culture, and ecumenical efforts, as well as his guidance during challenging times. Archbishop Anoushavan concluded, “In these turbulent times, we rejoice and give thanks that God has blessed us with a visionary and steadfast Catholicos, who continues to inspire the faithful.”

After the Divine Liturgy, a celebratory gathering brought together church leaders, dignitaries, and community members to honor the 31st anniversary in a spirit of unity and gratitude.
