Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan and U.K. Ambassador to Armenia Alexandra Cole met today in the Armenian capital and discussed cooperation prospects between Yerevan and British cities at the local self-government level.

Avinyan, according to his office, noted that Yerevan is open to innovative ideas, leading technologies and sustainable investments.

Cole said that within the framework of her post she will assist in presenting Yerevan's investment opportunities to British investors.

"Yerevan is an attractive and interesting market for deepening bilateral economic cooperation," Cole said.

The exchange of experience in the areas of infrastructure development, urban planning and improvement of public spaces, and digital transformation was also emphasized.
