
NATO Secretary General Expresses “Deep Concern” Over Safarov Pardon
Visiting NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, at a joint press conference with RA President Sargsyan in Yerevan, stated that, ““I’m deeply concerned by Azerbaijan’s decision to pardon Ramil Safarov, because that decision damages trust.”
Rasmussen added that he would convey this message to Azerbaijan’s President during his visit to Baku tomorrow.
The NATO Secretary General noted that “The incident that took place eight years ago was a crime, and such a crime should not be pardoned.”
