Armenia's Janes Nazaryan Crowned U17 Greco-Roman Wrestling World Champion
Armenia’s Janes Nazaryan was crowned Greco-Roman wrestling world champion in the 71 kg weight divsion at the Under-17 World Wrestling Championship now underway in Baku.
Nazaryan won the title of champion for the second time in his career, defeating Russia's Aslan Dzuev 4:3 in the final.
Nazaryan is also the reigning champion of the European U17 Championship.
Armenia's other representative, Gevorg Harutyunyan, in the 51 kg weight category, walked off with the bronze medal after scoring a convincing 5:0 victory over Georgia’s Saba Abashidze in the final.
