Armenia Picks Maltese Company to Regulate Gambling Sector

Random Systems International Ltd., a company registered in Malta, will become the operator regulating  gambling in Armenia.

The Armenia government, on August 6, approved a bill designed to monitor gambling bets, to define and apply betting restrictions by vulnerable individuals, and to establish rules for fair play.

The government and Random Systems will cooperate to create modern and effective digital mechanisms and control tools for the sector.

Pashinyan said that the gaming sector in Armenia needs to be transparent given the ongoing problem of unreported gambling transactions and consequential non-payment of taxes.

The new system goes into effect on January 1, 2027.

After winning the tender, Random Systems established the Game Analysis and Monitoring System LLC in Armenia. It received state registration on July 15.

The owners of Random Systems International Ltd. are Savoir Consulting and Argentum Holding Ltd..

Random Systems performs a similar function in Georgia.
