Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan, by phone today, thanked U.S. President Donal Trump for brokering a peace deal between Armenia and Azerbaijan that was signed on August 8, 2025 in Washington D.C.

The two, according to Pashinyan’s office, discussed implementation of the TRIPP project, reaffirming their determination to begin construction work on TRIPP soon.

Other issues on the Armenia-US bilateral and international agenda were also discussed.
