Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met today in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit.

They welcomed the development of Armenia-India relations and stressed the importance of joint steps to elevate cooperation to a new level.

The parties, according to Pashinyan’s office, discussed issues related to the development of cooperation in the fields of economy, technology, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, education, infrastructure, investments and tourism.

Pashinyan again invited Modi to visit Armenia and expressed his readiness to  visit India when possible.

They exchanged views on regional developments and the implementation of the TRIPP project.
