Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has accepted an invitation from Vladimir Putin to visit Moscow soon.

“Putin and Pashinyan will discuss relations between the two countries in Moscow, particularly Armenia’s orientation toward the European Union or the Eurasian Economic Union,” Peskov said.

The Kremlin spokesperson added that Russian and Armenian agencies will work on trade issues following the important meeting between Putin and Pashinyan in Bishkek.

The invitation was extended during a bilateral meeting on September 1 on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Bishkek.

While exact dates for the visit are still being coordinated through diplomatic channels, the Kremlin confirmed the talks will take place before the end of 2026.
