Catholicos Karekin II has issued a pontifical blessing and congratulatory message celebrating the 35th anniversary of Armenia’s independent statehood.

The church leader noted that despite facing numerous sacrifices and hardships over the past thirty-five years, the Armenian people have maintained hope and continued their mission of nation-building.

He stressed that national unity is vital to confront both internal and external threats.

He called on the nation to defend its right to a free, secure life by upholding national and spiritual Christian values to build a just and harmonious society.

His message concludes with a prayer for peace, wisdom, and prosperity across Armenia and the diaspora.
