Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in New York. The two sides discussed issues related to the Armenia-EU cooperation agenda.

The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of EU's support for Armenia's economic diversification process and the decisions adopted to that end. Nikol Pashinyan also emphasized the EU's support for the effective implementation of democratic reforms in the country.

Ursula von der Leyen noted that the EU will continue to support the advancement of the Armenian Government's programs and the development of cooperation across various sectors. The interlocutors also addressed issues of regional significance.
