YEREVAN — Armenia's Security Council Secretary, Alen Simonyan, hosted representatives from the United States-based advocacy organization "Save Armenia" today.
According to the Office of the Security Council, the high-level meeting focused on the Armenia–U.S. strategic partnership and South Caucasus security issues. Simonyan emphasized the importance of continuous dialogue with the delegation to align Yerevan's defense objectives with international support.
Save Armenia is an organization that bills itself as a “Judeo-Christian alliance of Christians, Jews, and conservatives dedicated to saving the world’s oldest Christian nation.”
The Save Armenia website declares that Armenia, as the first nation to adopt Christianity and the last Christian nation in the Middle East, must be saved from the aggressive ambitions of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
