Azerbaijani Commander: “Armenians will run away in new Karabakh war”

Lieutenant General Zakir Hasanov, the Internal Troops commander of Azerbaijan, is reported as saying: “The situation in the Armenian armed forces is disastrous. In case of war the troops of this country will escape from the field of battle.”

Interfax-Azerbaijan reports that according to Hasanov, Armenian armed forces will not be able to stand a day in case of a new war.

The commander noted that unlike Armenia, Azerbaijan has a strong and disciplined army and the military might of the personal staff guarantees the superiority of the Azerbaijani army.

Andy
I'm a armenian. Out of LA my father fought in the war And Got injured from the leg even do I have not been to armenian since I left 10 years ago I still have my pride and I will be willing to fight if ever armenia was attacked I think more armenian man should stand up instead of saying we are less powerful then the nobody Turks in 1991 we fought them with almost nothing and we won imagine what we can do with all the weapons and rockets we have now
Ed
Mher, where I Armenia do you live? What's your phone number?
John
Well, Mher, when you don't know what we do, it would be wiser for you not to talk at all. yes we have been to Armenia, have been to Artsakh, have done our trainings and have met Bako face to face. When you don't know anything I would recommend not to talk at all or don't make comments that you don't know about. We also have a lot of guys that have fought in Artsakh in the 80s and 90s and they, as in we all are ready to go to battle any time, any day. To me it looks like all you like to do is complain and put people you don't know down, and I guaranty, if there is a war, you will be some were in a hall hiding.
Tankdown
Well said Mher. I live in Kapan, and if youre ever in the area, send me a note and we can meet for a chat and a drink. All the best.

Gentleman, Please save your angst and anger for others. We are on an Armenian site and are arguing and hating on each other over trivial matters. We should all be able to voice our opinions, and have educaated discussions, as opposed to constant bickering. Before we go off to war, we have a country to fix. We have a goverment taht we eneed to hold accountable for the state the our brothers and sisters are in. We need to ensure we change our education system so kids get a fair shot at succeeding in the world. Most of all, we need to build a stronger and more prosperous Armenia so our best talents dont leave here first chance they get. I grew up in the diaspora, and now live happily in Armenia...not in Yerevan, but in the Southern Regions where you get a feel for what a great country we had...and can once again have if we unite. Forget all the BS, and concentrate on moving forward. Visit Yerablur and pay your respects to Monte and the others...but dont compare. Every one of our soldiers were special in their own ways. Lets all think of how we can make a change for the better...every second spent bickering with each other,(especially over some BS like proper English?Really?) we are strenghtening the enemy. As far as taking up arms, when the time comes, whoever is able will answer the bell... Be well!

If a war should occur between Armenia and Azerbaijan many propel will die that is a fact but that war will come one day because Azerbaijan keeps pushing for it and when that day comes and television stations are streaming in clips of soldier in body bags and buildings in ruins you will see a flag. That will be the flag of Armenia. Azerbaijanis are good at axing people when they sleep but to face us when we are awake you are cowards. My great grandfathers stood against many and I shall stand again to die for mother Armenia And so will my sons and so forth. But beware azebaijan this time we won't just take pieces of the pie but all of Azerbaijan.

@Ed...I really couldn't make heads or tails of your #19 comment. What is your point exactly...That is if you have one....
Mher
@John....Take your toy soldiers and go play war games somewhere in the hills of Los Angeles You guys are ridiculous.
Ed
Mher*, I'll make this simple for you ---- You and the azeris make the same groundless claims that are far from truth. Why you so desperately want to prove the others wrong, when the facts already speak for themselves? What exactly do you try to accomplish? You want the Armenians to feel weak and hopeless? It's not gonna happen.
Ed
))) so?...what are you waiting for? isn't no the best time to attack Armenia?))))))))
John
This is to all the Armenians around the world and yes Mher, you too. We are the American Armenian Legion and we are in the Diaspora, and we are all ready to stand and fight with our soldiers, If you think we don't do nothing here and just talk, go to your website at www.americanarmenianlegion.com and to our Facebook pages at AAL John and American Armenian Legion, read and look at the pictures of what we do. Then you might have a little different prospective of the Armenians in the Diaspora. We were also in the papers because the Turks wrote about us in there papers. Do your research. To Tankdown, you are right we should all stand together, not fight with each other, and never ever bring your nationality or people of your nationality down, especially when there are others reading things like this all around. I am Major John Suruchlyan the Commander of the American Armenian Legion
Mher
@Tankdown....I agree with what you say. I just cannot abide those who mouth patriotic rhetoric but leave the real fighting to others when the time comes. The time for such posturing is long gone. In the meantime, all the best to those like you who understand the realities on the ground here in Armenia. Be well!!

If Azerbaijan thinks one moment that he can fight Armenia and win he would of don it 20 years ago

@Kevin....read what I wrote and don't distort. I wrote there were less than 100 Monte style fighters from the DIASPORA.... There's a big difference.

Go moron azeri government go!!!! Keep deceiving yourselves as well as your brainwashed masses. You have no other choice but to lie to yourselves. Your strategy is plain and simple: if you can't beat the enemy on the battle field, simply start dreaming. Sweet dream my lovelies!! Stay dreaming for as long as you can; since the truth and reality are too painful for you to accept. I must admit though; I have a soft spot for your youth, whose minds you have twisted and destroyed with hatred and rage, preparing them as sacrificial offerings for the glory and enrichment of the scummy Aliyevs. But then you never cared for your own people, let alone the rest of humankind.
DontHate
I currently live in Armenia, so not that far from the battlefield :) Numbers dont matter yes, however i believe you are a zionist & full of hate.
Mher
@ Don't Hate...Let me ask you a very simple question...How many miles from the battlefield do you presently live??? And you casually state that numbers don't matter?
DontHate
Mher.......numbers mean nothing.......when the time comes we will show azeris once more who is the boss on the battlefield.
Mher
Dear GB - -There were less than 100 Monte style fighters from the diaspora the last time around. You're dreaming when you talk about thousands the next time.....
