Presidents Hollande and Sargsyan Meet in Paris
Here’s a video of yesterday’s joint declaration by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and French President François Hollande after their meeting in Paris.
Armenia’s president said he was happy that Hollande had accepted his invitation to visit Armenia in 2013.
President Sargsyan also stated that Armenia wanted to expand its friendly relations with France and called for greater French economic investment in Armenia.
President Sargsyan thanked Holland for France’s constructive approach regarding the Karabakh issue and its principled stance on the Genocide recognition process.
In conclusion, President Sargsyan stressed the historic ties that the two countries share and noted that the 500,000 Armenians living in France serve as the bridge for greater cooperation in the future.
