Rumors of air flights from Yerevan to Van have again popped up in the Turkish press.

Ayhan Fidan, a businessman with the Van Industry and Trade Chamber (VATSO) has told Hurriyet Daily News that the round trip flights will commence in two weeks.

“It will take 25 minutes for a plane to take off in Van and to land in Yerevan. The total trip will take one hour at the most,” said Fidhan, adding that tickets will cost 120 TL ($67) 

VATSO has completed legal procedures regarding aviation regulations and a plane will be rented from the local Bora Jet firm, according to the Turkish businessman.
