Government Allocates 40 Million AMD in University Tuition Assistance to Syrian-Armenians

On November 29, the Armenian government declared that it would allocate 100 million AMD towards tuition reimbursement for first and second year university students displaying exceptional achievement and activism in the public sphere.

The money will be granted to the Youth Foundation of Armenia, the organization responsible for disbursing the funds to worthy students.

40 million will be earmarked to cover the tuition costs of Syrian-Armenians presently attending universities and colleges in Armenia.
