Central Electoral Commission Urges Candidate to End Hunger Strike
Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has publicly called on presidential candidate Andreas Ghoukasyan to end his hunger strike.
The CEC says it is concerned with the candidate’s health, especially after press reports that Ghoukasyan was feeling weak.
The CEC also requested that a Ministry of Health medical team examine Ghouksayan and make the findings public.
Ghoukasyan says he started the hunger strike to protest the fraudulent election process in Armenia.
