In support of the international campaign for Mr. Nabeel Rajab, FIDH Deputy Secretary General, Bahrein sentenced to two years in prison for advocating the right to peaceful assembly.

“Today, advocating for the freedom of Nabeel and the people of Bahrain, we also express our solidarity with friends and colleagues imprisoned in Belarus, Azerbaijan, Turkey and Uzbekistan, and with those who are subjected to repressions as they assert their right for testifying to human rights violations”, told Artak Kirakosyan, FIDH Secretary General.
